Editing Wiki
Well I actually found this task rather daunting, mainly because there are so many articles out there. But I found one that was interesting for me to edit. I had to list a cast for 20,000 leagues under the sea. I couldn't figure out why they didn't have one already as it was easy to find. The only problem was, I didn't know how to do it. I let them know where I got the reference from and then I just put the cast list in. So it would be interesting to find out if that was OK, but there are so many articles that need fixing out there.

Hi Candy,
ReplyDeleteTo hyperlink a word in your post:
- click on the 'edit HTML' tab when writing a new post
-find & highlight the word you want to make into a link
-click the icon that looks like an infinity sign crossed with a paper clip
-paste the URL of the site you want to link to in the box
- click ok and go back to the 'compose' view
Hope this helps.
Hey Candy,
ReplyDeletenice work on the wiki editing. I also found this task quite daunting and am contemplating writing a short wiki for my work as it could help with their marketing and I don't feel I know enough specialist knowledge to edit another wiki. What other articles did you find that needed editing?
Were there many common errors?
