Well i absolutely love
Flickr but the only problem is I have already forgotten what my password is. And that is the only one(of course) that I didn't get the chance to write down. Well I will find it out sooner or later I hope. Anyway the reasons why i love Flickr is because you are able to store and share all of your favourite photos in one easy site and once again use tags to be able to locate them better. It is a fantastic site as you can also create your own blog.
Also using Flickr you are able to create a slideshow of your photos and attach them to your blog (as i have on the right of screen) and view them when ever you like. (I don't think that this is going to make sense it is a saturday night and brain is in overload to I apologize if you are that this very moment thinking What The???)
I shall think that I will leave it at that and come back to it later. And hopefully with something more intelligent to say.
candy
Hey Candy,
ReplyDeletedon't worry about reader comprehension - this post is easy to understand but I do think you need to rest when your body tells you :) I also really like flickr and I love the way you've linked your photostream to the blog. Thanks for your comments about my photos and new look on the blog. The eyes in that photo you commented on are actually the decorative frontage of an optometrist's. In terms of the new look, I just felt like a change and I remembered you'd said it was easy to change the look of your blog, so I just went in and got a new template. I think it's great that you can reinvent your look so effortlessly.
Sorry to hear you've forgotten your flickr password but why don't you try the secret question that you chose when you signed up? It does get quite confusing having to remember so many different usernames and passwords for web 2.0 applications!
Hi girls,
ReplyDeleteYes, thank goodness for that secret question! I always think I won't need it, until I forget my password. Candy, don't be so hard on yourself - I think everyone it kind of facing burnout and information overload at the moment.
On flickr, I agree that it is a great place to share photos with friends. I am unsure whether you would want to share personal photos with the whole world or members of the site. I think the landscape, skyline and other nature photos would be fine to share publically (like Cath's of the scenery from her holiday). The main issue I see with Web 2.0 is privacy. There are so many cases of cyberbullying and stalking with teens now...sorry about the ramble - I watched the story (on ABC) last night about this poor teenager who killed himself because of cyberbullying.
